• Remove a small amount (less than 3”) of water and debris from winter cover
  
• Wash cover and water tubes and fold for storage. Safety cover; lubricate anchors and set in summer position
  
• Assemble filter equipment
  
• Install deck equipment (ladder, diving board, railing, etc)
  
• Remove winter plugs and install summer fittings
  
• Add standard start up chemicals (liquid chlorine and algaecide, chemicals charged as extra)
  
• Start filter system, pre-coat filter if necessary and check operation
  
• If pool has a heater, fire heater and check operation. If heater won’t fire, inform homeowner to have heater serviced by licensed gas professional
